Its Better Late than LATE---Drive safe--live incident from my own experience
Hello Friends
Forgot to inform you about an incident that had occured on december 13 2008 at 0945hrs.
The night before december 13th 2008 I saw a dream of accidents and some one's child lost and was crying on the road and like that.Friends also wished me happy ride and ride safe eventhough they had never done this before as they knew that I always drive safe.My parents said somedays ago to not to go to this ride eventhough they had never stopped me before to go to any ride.Swati-my love also said no please don't go in this ride even though before she used to smile and would wish me before going to any ride.Still on that day she smiled and wished me good luck but I could sense the great NO from her heart.Many such incidents happened to me as if God was trying to pass some message to me.But the fact was that I was unable to identify his meaasge.
The main story lies like this.It was a cool and chilling morning and the day was already fixed two weeks ago by the biker group to go from bangalore to the valparai which is few kilometers from coimbatore.So woke up in the morning and completed all my prayers at it was by then 0530hrs.The schedule was to meet at 0630hrs at shell petrol pump of silkboard towards the hosur road.I managed to reach the starting point on time.Exactly at 0630hrs 6 members of our group started for our ride heading towards our destination with a common aim to meet our brothers of coimbatore and enjoy.So the ride was known as brothers in arms ride 2008.
The road was not so nice for few kilometers but after 15 to 30 minutes of the ride we touched the main hosur road,which was a silk route.So all the bikes,cars and trucks were zapping the road at speed.As a normal tendency in the highways,that day too i was managing to keep the needles of my speedometer till 80kph.Suddenly I saw all my group members are lost that is they were ahead of me and zapping the road.This made me restless as the route further was unknown to me and to my bad luck I had even forgot to carry the route map with me on that day.With the intention to catch my fellas ,with a racing gesture I closed my thighs and locked my knees with the tank of my bike and had bent a little so that I can cut the air ,glided to the right most of the road and than gave a full throttle to my bike.The sound was amazing and was completely roaring like brrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm......And when marked the speedometer ,I found the needles were dying to cross the 140kph.At that time I was unable to think anything ,but could see only the road running towards me as streaks of light and the trees were like hazy.After some time I could see the helmets of my fellas moving and got relaxed and thought atlast I caught hold of them and slowed down to 135kph - 140 kph.Suddenly from a distance I saw a tractor on my lane moving ahead at arround 20 to 30 kph.
Within this span of speed I marked a car was also speeding behind me and it looked as if the car is racing with me.As the bike was at terrible speed ,applying brakes were risky.So I tried to slow down the bike but was able to manage the needle to touch only till 110kph.By that time I was few inches from the rear end of the tractor.Than I tried to overtake the tractor from left inorder to avoid the head on collision as it was moving on right and offcourse it was in the wrong lane.Than suddenly BOOM BAM BOOM and complete dark and felt as if I am sleeping on my bed in my room and peoples were trying to wake me up.I woke up after few minutes ,and found myself still on the road.I found some one was giving me water to drink and saw that two of my members standing near me and helping me to get up from the road and also found a bit of crowd near me.For few seconds my mind was completely blank and I was remembering my childhood place and thought that I am in that place.I was trying hard to remember that what happened and asked my group that what am i doing here and what are they doing here.They were surprised and said come to the side of the road and they made me to sit somewhere and said all the story.Than slowly slowly I remembered all the incident and was looking to my cell phones to call some one but even I could not remember the names to whom to call to.They asked me where you will go in bangalore so that they will say the lorry driver and he could help me to go there.I was only remembering JP nagar 5th phase but was not remembering my complete address.Slowly slowly I managed to recollect my memories and am fine now.I later realised that more two of my memebers were behind me while I was zapping but I thought I was lost.
The incident that led me to this was that the car which was behind me also took left as the tractor was in the extreme right and in that way the car hit my bike and I slided to few kilometers on the road and as per people saying that the bike was at such speed that even the sparks were coming from the road where there was a hard mating between my bikes metal body and with the feminish body of the road ,while I was getting dragged.But with the Gods grace nothing happened as because I was wearing all my riding gears.Found later that my riding jacket is torn ,my knee guards were shattered and few scratches on my helmet.Though I felt sometime that the riding gears are too costly of being Rs20000 but today I think it is worth of that cost as it damaged itself but inturn it saved yours Anshuman.Nothing happened few sprain in my right leg and a bit of jerk on my left shoulder and a bit pain in my throat which made me difficult to swallow food for two days but forcibly I was swallowing;showed the doctor,he said everything is fine after all the test and gave a TTNA,few antibiotic and few pain killers.
So I am suggesting you all to wear the riding gears while going for long rides on the highways because accident mostly happen because of others mistake and fewer times because of you and also it happens unknowingly,thats why it is called as accident.Atleast use a good helmet always while driving good to wear a imported helmet (racing helmets) as it saved my head.though it will be above 3000rs but it is worth it.Had it been the normal helmets than it could have easily broken into pieces and there by breaking my head too.And also rememeber not to drive at speed which is unmanageable at certain time.Its better to be Late than LATE.
The front part of the bike is gone.The handle is in S shape(somewhat),the forks got bent,the crash guards got bent and touched the engines,the mudguard is gone,at the more interesting is that the disc brake is broken into pieces.Everyone is surprised that how disc brake is gone ,so they could feel the severity of the accident.But your anshuman is fit and fine ha ha ha.Its all because of God and also because of all yours best wishes are with me.Ha ha ha ha :-) thank god again and also to you all.

Did we do anything significant by taking the birth as human being?Human being is considered as the most valuable birth of all life so that we can perform our duties in intelligence.As in Gita it is said We need to do now for better tomorrow.So what it is ?We need to utilize our time in proper way.The better the work in this life the better the result for the next life.There is three forms of the world.The upper ,middle and the lower.Human birth is considered as the world of the middle.It is believed that to get the birth as human being a creatures take 64 yonis of birth means 64000 births.The form of birth the creature is now is because of its previous karma(deeds).The work you do in this life decides the form you will take in the next life.And it is decided by the supreme lord and they come in the upper world.In the lower world the creatures of animals and insects fall into this criteria.In order to get mukti from this birth-rebirth cycle the supreme helps a living being to get the form of a human being so that he can utilize his intelligence to get rid of this maya(illusion) cycle of birth and rebirth.The man who doesnot understand this again falls in this cycle and in each cycle a living creature suffers or enjoys the deeds of its past and thereby filters its deeds for the future......
Enjoying the fruits of today ! remember this is the deeds of your past.So what about the future?Don't waste the time.

Come January 2009, any bullet rider will quietly roll his or her trusty steed from the garage, load bare necessities and ride towards Ooty, Tamilnadu. Four hundred others will be doing the exact same thing – in New Delhi, Shillong, Kolkatta, Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Trivandrum and a few other cities all over India. They will all ride to participate in the annual national congregation of bullet Riders – Rider Mania.
“Rider Mania 2009 RTMC Ishtyle“ is the 6th edition of the meet. This one event draws hundreds of passionate bullet Riders from all over the country to

An event conceived, executed and owned by the community consisting of all the Enfield motorcycle riding clubs in the country for the members and other fellow bullet riding brethren The first two editions of Rider Mania were held in Goa and since then the motorcycling clubs have conducted Rider Mania near their home cities by turn. RTMC announce ride to Pearl Valley

RTMC always have a announced ride every month.In december,7th December 2008 was the day where RTMC thumped to Pearl Valley which is also known as Muthyalamaduvu. The ride started at 0700hrs and a total of 38 bulls roared through the roads.It was a fine chill morning and also the right time and right place for the get together of the members of RTMC and also to welcome the new members.We first headed to Chika Tirupathi which is 75 km from bangalore had our breakfast there and then from there we moved to pearl valley which is arround 35 kms from chikatirupathi.After reaching the destination , there was introduction from each and everyone of the riders who took part in the ride. RTMCians discussed about there rules and also about the Rider Mania 2009(which is hosted by RTMC this time) with the new comers.After that we all had our lunch and finally we thumped back to our home.

Pearl Valley, Bangalore is a tourist destination that is frequented by large numbers of people annually. Located at a distance of about 44 kilometers from Bangalore, this place is a well-known picnic spot in the area. The greatest attraction of this place is the cascading waterfall, which falls from an altitude of about 300 meters.
Pearl Valley in Bangalore is a welcome respite from the humdrum of modern life. Located in a quiet and tranquil environment, Pearl Valley is enclosed by many big and small hills and mountains. The place is secluded from the other areas and makes a great picnic destination. There are also some animals that can be found in the Pearl Valley, Bangalore.
The name Pearl Valley at Bangalore has been derived from the fact that, when the water falls from a great height and strikes the ground, it scatters like drops of pearls. This is a beautiful sight and with the sunrays glistening on the water drops, the sight becomes all the more spectacular.
There is also a small temple at the place, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This has also given some religious importance to the place.

Splendid scenary, can trek, swim and laze around at the destination. Very near Bangalore.
Pearl valley or Muthyalamaduvu, is 42 Kms from Central Silk Board flyover on the Hosur main road, towards Hosur.
CSB - Electronics City 10 KmsVery good road, a part of the Golden Quadrilateral Project. Good highway riding.
Electronics City - Anekal Road Intersection 15 Kms This is an intersection, where the road coming from Sarjapura meets Hosur road.To identify this, spot a number of fruits & vegetable sellers and other shops around. Take a right turn on Anekal main road and carry on straight till Anekal. Very good road, a part of the Golden Quadrilateral Project. Good highway riding.
Anekal Road Intersection - Anekal 10KmsHosur road to Anekal is a pleasant ride, a tree lined road, with fields on both sides. Riding on this, reach a Y junction, keep left, into the town of Anekal. One then reaches the main market. Ride through it till you get to a dead end, with only option of a right turn. Take a right turn at the dead end. Good road, though narrow and with rural traffic.
Anekal - Pearl Valley 7 KmsIt is a good road through the fields once again, for the first 4-5 Kms. Watch out for some boards hawking the Pearl Valley Resort on to your right. You can easily miss this board as it faces the opposite direction.Thats the right turn to Pearl Valley. Ride along a kuchcha, pot hole & pebble strewn road for around 2-3 Kms to find yourself at the KSTDC restaurant at Muthyalamaduvu. On this stretch is a barrier, where one has to pay Rs 7 per vehicle, to enter the pearl valley and Rs 5 at the KSTDC as parking fee.Stopovers:Anekal
Fuel Stations:-Lots on the Hosur Road, one before Anekal.
Tips:-Visit immediately after monsoon. Good food at the KSTDC restaurant, Muthyalamaduvu. Also check out the Pearl Valley resort, 1 km ahead of the restaurant. Swimming etc. available at a cost of around Rs.300 per person for a day.
