The ride was on 24th August 2008. Very excited for the ride. The starting point of the group was from Putana Chetty Town Hall Bangalore. As usual I was at the starting point from 0600hrs while the ride started at 0700hrs. Other half of the group joined us from Metro Mall Bangalore. A total of 25 bullets made up to the ride. with two BMW , Yamaha R1 and a dirt bike as the beamer. The point was played by Raghvan and sweep by the Goop(nike name of a guy given by RTMC).
Total Km-103 km(one side ) and 206 km(round trip) from bangalore
Total duration:-started at 0700hrs and returned back at 1600hrs .(9 hours of journey with breaks in between for rest ,break fast etc.)
Petrol Bunks:- available on the highway
Food:- Nice hotels are there on the highway and some good dhabas also.
The road is not so nice so driving should be careful and with normal speed to keep the bikes in good condition. Else you land in some trouble situation .As the roads were not nice and many ups and downs,suddenly one of our bike hit the ditch and the bikes hub ,spokes and wheel rim got broken.
We reached there at 1200hrs and came back on the same day at 1430hrs. And some had there lunch at the high way hotels and some after reaching there homes. So in all the ride was nice.
